Just Finished reading Dave Crosby's article about the M&H photo fright. Great article, one things getting rare photos of a steam powared fright street running it another to see a steam powerd and rising flood water. Great photo's. Do you, or anyone else who have put together a photo fright have comments on the process? and your experence's? -Justin Franz |

Hello All In spite of the weather I had a great time organizing and executing the event. Since this was my first charter attempt the whole thing was kept pretty quiet with just a few freinds invited in case things turned ugly... If I do another such charter (and there are no plans to at the moment), I'll actually put the word out. The M&H RR is a class act and went out of their way before, during and after the event to make sure everything went smoothly. The article was intended put forth a few thoughts and ideas, rather than just a bunch of "pretty pictures". I hope its entrtaining and maybe even helpful to everyone. DBC |

Hi Ted, Don't thank me, be sure to thank Dave Crosby. He did a superb job on writing the article as well as organizing the trip. Despite the flooding, he was able to pull off a quality trip on the lower end of the railroad that lasted most of remainder of the day. Kurt Bell |
