I'm trying to determine the status of passenger excursion operations at this Sacramento-area shortline; are they still around, and is the SP 0-6-0 still in service? All help greatly appreciated. |

Check their webpage at http://www.sacramentorivertrain.com There is a link to contact information from that page. The steamer, #1233, appears in photographs, but I didn't delve into the site deeply enough to determine if it's operational. |

Erik, SP#1233 is currently out of service and awaiting new 230 compliance. Although it is located on the Yolo Shortline, it is owned by the local historical railroad society and not by the railroad. Ken |
