Post subject: spv-2000 update

I went to Metro north open house last saturday. It was great!!!
I suggest anyone go if you are interested in trains repair.
8 spv-2000's are at metro north and being sold to DOT of Conn. to be made into Constitution class coach cars (un spv-ed).
They are on a track a bit north of Croton station along with some FL9's . There was a bit of grumbling about how long it was taking for CT DOT to get the cars...
One spv-2000 car is in the main yard but it is a mess. The pioneer III trucks have been trashed NO self power ability or engines and it is only a coach (without doors windows or interior).
joe
