The only existing inside connected 4-6-0, (LNER B12) had boiler work done in Germany- same company I wonder? The 4-6-0 is now based on the North Norfolk Railway out of Sheringham in the UK.

No a different workshop located in, I think, Kloster Mansfeld.

Meiningen has been selected by the A1 group to build their boiler. It is a former DR works which undertook overhauls on many locos and ended up being the last works overhauling steam locos.
Previously the works rebuilt locos, for example the 35 class 01 pacifics rebuilt to class 01.5 (with skyline boilertop casings) in the 1960's.
