| Post subject: | IRM Pullman Library |
Ted Anderson, Curator of the Pullman Library at IRM, underwent open heart bypass surgery last week. He is doing well and expected to be released from the hospital today. For those who do not know Ted, he is the heart, soul, and HANDS of our Pullman Library function which houses over 100,000 drawings and documents. He has almost singlehandedly led the tremendous improvement in organization, cataloging, infrastructure, and fullfillment of inquiries. He hopes to be able to resume some of his library duties as doctors allow, but certainly not in the next six weeks. So we urge patience for those of you with ongoing research requests or pending orders for copies of drawings. I am sure Ted wants to serve your needs as much as you may want the results; but I am also sure we all agree that a full and complete recovery is foremost. Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding. Bob Kutella |
