Just visited this website per our Oct 27 News Brief. What a fascinating, yet depressing tour of a city... It is amazing that European city centers, even those once devastated by WWII bombing, continue to thrive and buzz with pleasant activity, while so many of America's city centers lie in ruins, even though they were untouched by war. Testament to our "anything that makes a buck quickly is good" policies of free enterprise, and to me a refutal of the baloney found in the much-discussed RailroadingAmerica website.
ryarger1@nycap.rr.com |

What a great site, one of the best ever!!!!!
These are the place I go when I visit a city. My wife always says I take her to the nicest places. When we go somewhere we go to the old industrial areas and rail yards.
Tom Gears

|
