Ran across this 1970 photo of a short turntable said to be at Burlington, Iowa. I suspect it is now gone, but does anyone know for sure? http://www.mugii.com/john/Pictures/SE_I ... ,%20IA.jpg Lloyd Stagner's RI steam book does not list a turntable at Burlington. Perhaps the Rock Island Southern, a local switching road? |
