This is not a modeling site, but models can be used to good advantage at museums to interpret what no longer exists. This is one of the most realistic model railroads I have ever seen. Northern Pacific prototype.

Wow! That is an amazing layout! Just curious, I've lived in a small one-bedroom apartment for the past 5 years so I haven't done much in the way of modelling. Is this Central Valley Modelling Works the same company as Central Valley Truss? I remember they used to make some really nice bridges and stuff. I just haven't kept up with modelling much lately, been devoting much of my time to 1:1 prototype!

Thanks for sharing,
Dave Jandron

Yes it is. IIRC, the current owner of Central Valley Model Works is Jack Parker, and this is his personal layout.
