The second article I did for my online magazine site back in 2002 was on the RMLI. I've updated the article a lot since then. I've brought my camera a few times that I've been there and have at this point gotten pictures of most of the stuff. I spend a good amount of time on the Island at our family home, so I visit frequently.

I found one picture thus far of the 2002 visit that an ex-LIRR GP-38 made to Riverhead after the NY&A hired a graffiti artist to paint a 9/11 mural on the side of the locomotive. I have more somewhere; but one is up.
