With the revival of the old Edwards motor car company, I thought some might like to see this Edwards, at Fort Collins, Colorado, on the Colorado & Southern. Was normally used on the branch to Greeley. April 15, 1928.

When did GWRR acquire the ex-C&S Greeley Branch? As of 1996, when I left Colorado, it still belonged to BNSF.

I believe it was in 1998 that the Gee Whiz (Great Western) took over the Greeley branch from Fort Collins. They also do most of the switching for the BNSF in the North Yards and switch the Budwiser Brewery.

Roger --
Pardon my ignorance, but don't I recall that the FCMR crosses this line at grade in downtown somewhere?

It did in 1951 but it doesn't now. The track of the Fort Collins Municipal Railway today stops a block short of the main line of the Burlington Nothern Santa Fe on Mason Street.
