There is no shortage of these Western Pacific units surviving, but ran across these photos on one in Tennessee. Note it has some of the old EMD style journal boxes, which could be useful in full restorations of F units, etc..

6 WP GP7s survive today.

WP 705, 707 and 708 and SN 712 (ex-WP 712) are owned by the Feather River Rail Society/Portola RR Museum. All run except for the 708, which is a hanger queen.

WP 713 is owned by the Pacific Locomotive Association and will be going to their museum in Niles Canyon. It is currently in Oakland.

And then the poor old 706. It appears that all the others are now scrapped.

Also, 3 GP9s and 2 GP20s survive. All are preserved in Portola except for GP9 727, preserved in Elko, NV, and GP20 2002, owned by Relco and leased to an oil refinery in, IIRC, Wyoming. 2002 has been chop-nosed, but is otherwise unmodified.
