What is the status of these engines?

A half-hour of Googling reveals that reports that, of the five locos exported to the Paulista Railway in Brazil in the early 1950s by GE, all five supposedly ceased service after a change in railroad management in the mid-1990s. One British website reports the spotting of one of the five still in freight service in 1996; I have not been able to discern whether or not one of the quintet has been preserved.

Please note that, although these locos were from the same batch of production at GE, these five-foot-gauge locos never operated on the Milwaukee Road or South Shore.

The Paulista also operated lookalikes for the New Haven streamlined-double-cabbed EP4's.
