There must be at least 100 of these little Orenstein & Koppel 0-4-0s and similar sisters from other builders surviving. Built to 60 cm gauge, they were essentially contractors engines in Europe, also serving industrial narrow gauge systems. After WWII, they laid portable tracks down streets in German cities to clear the rubble in little tipper cars. A bunch of them migrated to the US in the 1960s, and some still run. This one is steaming on the West Lancashire Railway in the UK.
