In the early 1980s, both the Burlington Northern and Milwaukee Road had roundhouses in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. The Burlington facility was about half its original size, but the Milwaukee's was still a complete circle, with no portions razed. There was a steam-era water tank nearby.

Am I safe in presuming that both structures are now gone? Does either turntable exist? Is the water tank gone?
