Post subject:  VRS equipment available

From the VRS/Rutland discussion group is this statement from a VRS employee (VRS is Vermont Rail Systems, an amalgam of the Vermont Railway, Green Mountain RR and two other lines they operate, mostly in Vermont) concerning several pieces of rolling stock available free to those who can haul them away:

Down on the GMRC end, there is the old CV bunk car (former non-air
conditioned Pullman from CN) and also the B&M wooden baggage car. Both are
avaialble to any party wishing to have them removed at their own expense.
Neither can move on its own wheels other than around the yard area.

Two RDC cars for sale (I forget exact price) but there are nearly enough
parts to make ONE close to operational car with a parts supply left over.

Ex-B&M Milk car is not yet available because its passenger equipment make it
attractive for 'other' uses.

Post subject:  More info about some of this equipment on my website

This was the first equipment to be listed on my Historic Railway Equipment site - which went live about a year ago.
