Not sure of the present ownership, but for a time it was owned by Bergen Tech, a trade school that taught industrial boiler maintenance and repair. They planned to repair it as a school project, but the project was not finished. Perhaps someone can comment on its current status? Engine was assigned to Spencer Shops in NC about 1950, later ran on the Virginia Blue Ridge shortline. |

This discussion has ensued in this forum previously, however I believe the engine is jointly owned by trucker Joe Supor and former Bergen Tech steam teacher Frank Vopasek (also an NH&I engineer). The engine is stored in the old Worthington Corporation building in Harrison, NJ. I'm uncertain of any future plans. |

I have asked this question in the past; but does anyone know what happened to the stationary engines, traction engine, and pumps that were also collected by Frank Vopasek as part of the Bergen Tech training program? -James Hefner Hebrews 10:20a Surviving World Steam Project |
