Baldwin stock model Decapod, built for the Alabama, Tennessee & Northern. Finished its career for Woodward Iron in Alabama and now at the Mid-Continent Railway Museum in Wisconsin. Sister to Strasburg's 90 and a few others. http://southern.railfan.net/images/arch ... aldwin.jpg |

There were unsubstantiated reports that TVRM was interested in Gainesville Midland 209 (ex Seaboard 533) in Gainesville, GA, before the City of Gainesville decided to fix it up. I have never heard those rumors confirmed by anyone from TVRM. TVRM DID lease ex Gainesville Midland 203 (ex AT&N 402 and sister to the aforementioned 401) from sometime in the early 60's to about 1991. 203 is the porperty of the Atlanta NRHS, which at the time she was donated had no museum site on which to keep her. Plans TVRM may have had to operate her presumably went out the window with the aquistion of the 4501. She is now back on display at the Southeastern Railway Museum, and slated for cosmetic work in the next year or so. Andrew Durden S.E.R.M. |
