....a set of six-axle passenger car trucks off of the Central of Georgia Observation car, Mt Oray? They are located on my parents farm in Ky. They are for sale or we would consider trades. We would be interested in a set of roller bearing wheelsets for a heavweight passenger car or? The trucks are complete as far as I know, except for the brass. They are friction bearings. They are overgrown, so during the summer, you wouldn't know they were there. They are marked C of G and are bolt on pedestal. They would be perfect for a C of G car missing it's trucks. Sounds like a perfect match for Savannah, to me. Do they not have a couple of C of G cars without trucks? TJG |

Just a caboose, but that would look silly on heavyweights. Not that it looks great on Boston subway trucks either. Uness something has changed in the collection there within the past year or so I haven't heard about. Old Alabama Rails is interested in two carbodies which have no trucks, and might do well with these. I am working on contacting them about it. dave |
