From the photos, it appears that much of the catenary and wires are intact, with at least one station platform. It would seem a good time for area residents interested in the Reading to give input to a design team involved in yuppifying it into a public space. Too often, these designers want to apply their own artistic touches and obliterate the site's history in the process. It would be good to retain as many of the historic features as possible in the conversion process, perhaps even displaying some Reading equipment in a more secure area.

Personally, I always thought one of SEPTA's ex-Reading Blueliners should have been shoved into the convention center for "stuffing and mounting." Guess they could put one in the park - if it ever materializes.
