Does anyone have any knowledge of what has happened to the electric steeple cab locomotives used at the Pearl Brewery in Texas? Are they still in Texas somewhere or have they been moved? I recall that the brewewry had closed and that there was a fire in polant sometime after that.

Any updates would be appreicated. Thanks

I have no idea what happened to these units but I do have 18 prints that show motors No. 1 (1), No. 1 (2), No. 2 (1), and No. 2 (2), some black and white, some color.

I no longer have any interest in this railroad , so if anyone is interested in these shots, let's make a deal.

The two electric locomotives are still stored at the Pearl Brewery SA, Tx.
As far as I know they are operable.

The ex-Texas Electric was operable. I don't know that they got the steeplecab running again after it was flooded out a few years back. It had a reverser go out and I don't think they re-wired it correctly.

The thing would barely move in notch one and then would spin the wheels in notch two. The controller acted the same way regardless of which set of motors were cut-out. After noticing that, I reached down and CUT OUT ALL THE MOTORS and still... barely moved in notch one and then spun the wheels in notch two!
