Post subject:  Edaville track shortening

From Stephen Hussar:

Thought you might find this of interest. Reinhard
Wolgemuth's "Right Track" Edaville site has photos
of the track being removed in the Mt. Urann section
of the railroad.

The rails are being taken up to make way for new
houses which will be built. The mainline will be
re-routed and the whole ride will be 3/4 mile
shorter. The new Edaville mgmt. team is still in
the process of working with the town on getting
the proper permits for building the new route.

Here's the link. I believe the lower highlighted photo
shows the site of the original Edaville entrance
and station platform. Very sad to see.
