Long before Nelson Blount acquired this commuter engine.

Bob, I asked a friend of mine who is in his 80's about these pictures, here is what he replied
"Looks like turcot yard. I have ridden behind these tanks many times. There were 5 of them and they worked the local service along the Lakeshore on Island of Montreal."

Currently looking pretty shabby in the Steamtown yard. A shame.

Yes, I believe your observations are correct. For the last number of years, Turcot Yard, was used as a container yard. The yard was closed by CN, several years ago, and sold to the City of Montreal, who plan to build businesses and homes on the land, once the tracks are removed.
