OK, so I'm a 70's kid and there's a lot I can relate to in that issue.

But the whole issue impressed me as one of the best in a long while, good articles, great photography,....

Yeah, Wow. Haven't said that in a while about TRAINS, either.

And if you see this thread, Jim, you either get to take credit or pass it on, take your pick.

Randy, I'll pass your good wishes on to Kevin Keefe, who along with Matt Van Hattem, JDI, Kathi Kube and Angela Pusztai-Pasternak dropped the mirror ball down and illuminated the '70s all over again. At the end, Jason and I showed up, jumped into our leisure suits and helpd complete the dance.

Just had a looksee at the cover and inside page designs for May, the annual tourist railroading issue, and I hope you'll enjoy it too. Lots of good stuff in there!

Best, Jim

Amen to everyone! I've subscribed since the 70's and started my railroad photography at that time. I used to pick up my friend Dean who was only 14 at the time and take him with me. The E-L and Scranton was our mecca. I contacted him the day it arrived urging him to be alert for this issue, as it's a winner!

Nice job!!
