Probably not too long after the 1950 abandonment of the line. Was this the first display site out by the Carson City airport? The engine looks much better today, with some work completed toward operation should a windfall of funding appear.

And 2-8-0 5 with one of the last trips, at Carson City. The depot still exists in its original location, but is now surrounded in a sea of modern buildings. No. 5 was scrapped shortly after.
