Follow link above to news brief about RFQ. The time frame for this is unbelievably short. But want to bring as much attention to it as possible.

Post subject:  Short time limit

Given the very short time limit for someone to pull this proposal together, I wonder if this is just a ruse to make it appear that the rail authority "really tried" to keep the branch as an operating RR, but will then use the lack of submissions to later prove that there "was no interest expressed". In other words, giving ammunition for trails promoters to get rid of the track and extend the trail...
