Isn't there a group out there trying to preserve items/ photos of the American Freedom Train's 1947/48 run? I just found some items in our own Archives here when it visited Port Huron on August 26-28th, 1948 --- the only recorded time an ALCO PA ever graced our fair community, by the way.
