Post subject:  Northern Pacific Railway Museum and the White Swan Branch

An update on the White Swan Branch Line has been posted on the museum website. Basically the Yakima County Commissioners have bought into the innuendo provided by the Columbia Basin Railroad. They
still have not made a final vote but it is nearing. The museum is
trying hard to get the decision reversed before it becomes final.
Unfortunately 13 years of work and approximately $100,000 of
museum money will go without the potential for return on investment
thanks to the Columbia Basin Railroad. We are still hopeful though
the situation is looking a little bleak.

Post subject:  This deserves your attention!

For those of us in the Pacific Northwest this is especially disturbing news. I will send a message to the commissioners. I hope everyone on this board does the same, even if you're not from this area.

Remember, there is an NP S-4 class 4-6-0 in the mix here. We might be able to make a difference.

Let's join our voices in unison!

Thanks in advance.
