Yes, attorneys should be zealous advocates for their client. However, they should be even more zealous advocates for JUSTICE. As it stands, IMNHO, I see the priority of service is self, firm, bar association (a disgusting remnant of the medieval guild system and a cartel) client, justice. Harsh, yes. True? For those of us that saw what happened in the aftermath of the July 1995 incident where two young men were tragically killed by a Steamtown train, there is no redemption for the legal profession and its self-serving pretense of being the custodian of justice and the thin blue pinstriped line against anarchy.

As a recap, on July 9, 1995 two brothers trespassed over multiple properties to illegally ride the Lackawanna County Railroad Authority Pocono Mainline. A westbound (heading home) excursion train struck and killed the two teens as they stood in the gauge of the rails.
