I am curious as to the status and plans of the two cars mentioned above, that were transfered in ownership from the Altoona RR Mermorial Museum to the Horseshoe Curve chapter NRHS. I understand that the Duquense ( car 7511 ) was stored at Union Tank Car Co in Altoona and perhaps was primed. The Union League Club remains outdoors in the Altoona area.

Is anyone in a position to comment what the future holds for both these heavyweight cars. I am aware that both cars have sat for years outdoors from the days of PC M&W service to ownership by the ARRM.

I know that the Duquense has perhaps had some work done on it. I would be curious to know, what the NRHS chapter has instore for these two unique cars, what schedule if any has been created, how these projects are being financed, and should they ever be completed, what will become of these unique heavyweights.
