What latest news, if any, of the Denver & Rio Grande Foundation's acquisition and restoration of the South Fork - Creede portion of the ex-D&RGW Creede branch, and its plans to operate excursions [and ambitious plans to narrow-gauge/dual-guage the track]??

So far, all that's happened is that the purchaser has managed to hack off just about everybody in both Creede and South Park, to the point that one election has been held, in whcih the railroad voted down, and one of the towns has gone to court to stop it.<p>The buyer filed a lot of legal actions, supposedly to "reclaim" land he says is his with the purchase. some fo this land was being used for a playground/park, and he kicked veryone off it and posted it "No Trespassing."<p>It's more like a civil war than a railroad project. Everybody is suing everybody, and nothing good is happening. <br>
