Post subject:  This Month's Article Photo got me to thinking....

Very high liklihood that many of the fittings in the car pictured (luggage racks, light fixtures, match strikes, handles, latches, locks) were manufactured by the Adams & Westlake (now Adlake) Company of Chicago. From my watching eBay, I know that they also dabbled in cameras, stoves, and brass bedsteads together with all of the railroad related items (lanterns, switchlocks and keys, markers, etc).

Does anyone know anything about the company being bicycle manufacturers? There have been some items on eBay where the sellers (yes, more than one) emphatically state that the item is from the Adlake Bicycle Company. A Google search turned up nothing other than bicycle lamps (kind of along the line of their kerosene lamps for carriages, early automobiles and trucks).
