We have started the restoration of a 1917 60 hp Case Steam Tractor in Wichita, KS. The tractor is owned by my wife and I and will be displayed at local events as well as the annual Labor Day show at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. The show is Sept. 1 - Sept. 5, 2005. This is the home of the Midwest Central Railroad narrow gage. This is where Argent Lumber Co. #6 a 2-6-0 Baldwin and West Side Lumber Co. #9 a Lima Shay can be found under steam. This is the home of the late Stan Matthews who was the owner of Shop Services, Inc. Old Threshers is also home to the standard gage Midwest Electric Railway which operates on the south half of the show grounds and has a number of vintage cars in operation.
