i am sure he could do another woodworking preservation project!

It is now up to the Preservation community to find a historic site to display the car that has some inside storage and the energy to produce a set of correct model seats.

wooden cars like that from the last years of wood construction are indeed treasures.

the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel has made a whole museum out of 32 of them.

I am sure we can and should be doing the same for his car!

How about those of you in New England getting on the stick?

Would this not look great behing B&M #494 at White River Junction? Or B&M #410 at Lowell, Mass?

Another possible location is the Danbury, CT Railroad Museum who has the
B&M 1455. The down side is they do not have indoor space.

Excellent point --- don't know why I forgot Danbury. And they could potentially use it for it was attended --- a coach!

TJ, these are good ideas. Not sure if the coach would physically fit under the new roof over the B&M 494 at WRJ.

The B&M 410 in Lowell already has a car "in tow."

But, how about inside the Bartlett, NH roundhouse, soon to be home of the nascent Bartlett Historical Society?
