Western Iowa Tech Community College (WITCC) offers a 3-credit hour class on the History of Railroading. The class is conducted over the web and is taught by Dr. Rudy Daniels, author of Trains Across the Continent.

Although WITCC's website isn't updated, they will be offering the class to begin next week. To find out more visit their website www.witcc.com, link to current students, and link on to distance learning. The webpage should give names of people to contact if you are interested in the class and costs associated with the class.

I have taken the class. Found it very educational, gives an excellent historical survey of Canadian and U.S. Railroad History.
