It was still in drydock at the former Navy Yard at Charlestown, MA when I drove through there in December. To those who may not know, the Nobska was built for the New England Steamship Co., a New Haven Railroad subsidiary. She was launched 4/9/25 at Bath, ME. |

sloan, I last saw the steam ship about four years ago. She looked terrible! The people whorking aboard had taken much more of her apart than thay had any hope of putting back together with the available money. She is in the Constitution Dry Dock and it is needed to work on the namesake frigate. The NPS Has let several deadlines go by and is still waiting for the Friends to move adead. Sorry for such a negitive report, I have been interested in her for years. She is the llast of her kind in the Nation, I think they shoould have opted for the far less costly static display.
