Any progress reports from Rochester, NY regarding the proposed vintage trolley line along the shore of Lake Ontario and preservation of the Hojak swing bridge over the Genessee River?

It was never more than a pipe dream by one or two individuals.
As far as I know, planning never got beyond building a webpage.
the original Hojack ROW no longer exists, houses are in the way of the proposed route.
sorry, but it will never happen..

There are two groups, both still active, trying to bring light rail and/or trolleys to Rochester. Four years ago we helped the Rochester Rail Transit Committee evaluate the feasibility of a light rail starter system. We were able to document that a system could be built for only about $4,000,000 per mile, much less than other estimates. Below are their web site links:
