I was talking to my dad in Omaha. According to him the 6900 went to Kansas City for a new paint job prior to being relocated in Omaha. I think it was a great idea to move it with the 6936 in a pasenger train. I also understand that the prime movers and generators were removed from the locomotive. |

Hmmmmm....... 13,200 hp........ five lightweight cars.......... Now what was that speed record set by the TGV again? >;-D |
