Post subject:  UP 6936 and 6900 BOTH on the Road

I thought they were moving around the 6900 in style but didn't know they put it out on the road!

I was talking to my dad in Omaha. According to him the 6900 went to Kansas City for a new paint job prior to being relocated in Omaha. I think it was a great idea to move it with the 6936 in a pasenger train. I also understand that the prime movers and generators were removed from the locomotive.

Hmmmmm....... 13,200 hp........ five lightweight cars..........

Now what was that speed record set by the TGV again?
