Rich,

How is the 765 rebuild coming along? The web site had some great photos of her getting back on her wheels so to speak but then the page went back to a former update.

I know that we are all interested and ready to hear any update you may want to share with us at this time.

Thanks in advance,

JD Johnson, Morehead and North Fork Railroad Historian.

JD, things are coming along just fine, thanks!

The web site has not had an update for quite a while and that is largely my fault. We had a server issue that prevented us from doing any updates, but that has been fixed (we just moved the site to a new server) and you can expect to see some updates on the site very soon...perhaps this week.

The 765 will return to service in 2005, however it is still a bit too early for me to provide any details beyond that statement. The locomotive is in the re-assembly stage now and our crew is doing a great job.

We will soon have a place on our web site where you can quickly check the status of the locomotive and also enjoy discussions like this web site. We'll announce that news soon.

Rich,

Thanks for the update. I have always appreciated your groups effort to bring this locomotive back up to spec. You are doing a great job.

Thanks again for your kindness.
