From the rail swap site- A 100 ft 52 ton turntable is for sale for 12K. It must be removed by 4/12 and is at Covington, Va.

Post subject:  And now the fine print:

The turntable is about 105 feet, and is currently sitting on "shop trucks" on track.

It's one of Jack Showalter's old relics. The contractor who has possession of the table is selling the table, but NOT included is the ring rail and motoirs, which Jack supposedly still holds.

The contractor also has a package deal where shipping within 500 or so miles is included for additional. (This sounds like a bargain, if someone has a place to store it in the interim.) There MAY be temporary storage space nearby if someone needs to act now and get the ducks in a row later.

And, yes, it's my understanding that there's a steep financial incentive for the contractor to fire up the torches on the afternoon of April 15th.
