Hey Hume, what happened to the link to the old interchange? I needed to go back and look at something and I can't find the link! Is it me?

Thanks!

Well, the new board seems to be working with no problems, and people were posting new stuff on the old board, which seemed self defeating to me, so I yanked it. I guess I could repost it as a static archive with no post or response functions, but then people would probably complain they can't do anything there:)

Hume,

if the disk space is not an issue, be brave and let them complain. I suspect there won't be many of them. On the other hand, archives can be found for/alongside various news and discussion groups. One benefit would be that a few questions won't be repeated (some still will no matter what). And wouldn't it be nice if someone looking for, e.g., "Maffei" with a search engine would/could discover RyPN by finding a link to the archive?

Cheers from good old Texas, Jochen
