Good description and history here of the (now gone) Wyoming/Colorado RR, which briefly operated the Union Pacific Coalmont Branch running from Laramie, Wyoming down into Colorado's North Park. This line ran passenger service for a time, using ex-Alaska FP7s and ex-Alaska (nee-Southern Ry., I think) stainless cars.
