Not railroad, nor neccessarily preservation oriented, but still facinating, is this article on a visit by Peter Knego and Martin Cox to the shipbreakers on the beaches of Alang. Many of the passenger vessels that have been recently scrapped were on the beach during their visit; these pictures were probably the last taken of them:
