This should be ignored, if you read the whole news post you will see the poster has a rather biased agenda. |

Biased or not lets look at the FACTS stated.......1)The locomotive has no boiler certificate from it's previous state, 2) The loop has not been officially regulated by the FRA although the previous operators did comply to all regulations and inspection requirments(daily, monthly, annual) and they do operate over a public road if I am not mistaken, 3) at the very least the loco cannot operate until it recieves a colorado boiler certificate.....This is all true and this is all that was stated. There are many questions regarding the locomotive that have been around for years prior....these will come to light and will either be proven and be issues or be disproven and fade away into nothing more than a memory.......no reason to get worked up, it will all work it's self out. |

The agenda of the poster is, as I said on ngdiscussion, revealed in the comment about 12's status as an antique "..which it clearly is not...". That statement is one of the most ridiculous things I have heard recently. How is the engine NOT an antique? Is it because of the newish boiler? You people want the Loop to fail, just so you can say "I told you so". |
