Who can name the moderator? Where and when was this photo taken?

(Those of you who deduce his identity because you know me, have to also name the location.) Double bonus (brownie) points if you can name the two siblings. (Hint: I'm not one of them.)

not sure of the moderator, but I'm guessing on the location: It's not "Frontier Town" in North Hudson, NY, is it?

It isn't me, (based on the cars in the background, at the time I was riding behind a ex-Hawiian 4-6-0 at Travel Town in Los Angeles)

Erik is too young.

It must be Ed...

Umm... Nope. :-)

(Hint... it's close to a hot topic (and occaisonally here) on the NG Discussion forums.)

I will take a guess it is C&S 60 then as now next to the souvenir shop at Idaho Springs, Colorado.

The locomotive is being considered (I think) for restoration and operation at the Georgetown Loop Railway.

Can't help you with the kids

As then... but not now... At least not since my last visit about 6 years ago.

I've heard the rumor about use on the loop... I can neither confirm nor deny.

The kids? You're typing about my brothers and oldest sister. :-)

Immediately recognized the 60; that scene hasn't changed much.

There was some nonsense about that locomotive actually being considered by the CHS, but it's been dropped, and I don't think Idaho Springs would let it go (good thing, too). They've got a laughable list of three other locomotives in the state.

I understand some people used to light some tires in her firebox for smoke for many years...
