Post subject:  GB&W 40-foot boxcar #2543 at Cornell, Michigan

Don't know if this is officially abandoned, but doubt their sending anything for it......

Remember seeing this last year on the way to the U.P. History Conference at Iron Mountain. There are two flats with it, which both look like cut down versions of box cars. This is on the Escanaba & Lake Superior's original Wells-Channing line, now pretty weed-choked, but intact (but not long for this world, me-thinks):
