With enough money, anything is possible.

I'd love to see these cars saved. Trouble is, it will be very expensive to move them ( just a basic crane and flatbed move is around $4-5000. These are SO fragile that it will likely cost double that. ), never mind restoring them properly.

Probably the best idea would be for 2 or 3 museums to collaborate and work with the current owner to set up a temporary shelter on his property that they could be moved into and stabalized. Once they are conserved enough for movement, then they would quickly require complete restorations. It is unlikely that they could be "kitbashed" as they are all needing reasonably similar work.

All told, such a project could run $100-150,000 total by the time its over. It is unlikely, with all the other work going on at the major California museums that could be interested in these cars (BAERA, CSRM, FRRS), that such funds would be available.

Would be nice, though. Anyone hit the lottery lately?
