| Post subject: | PA Trolley Museum's New Display Building Opens |
I hope I am not preempting a Brief or Article on the subject, but it appears as if the new display building at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum opens officially today. http://www.pa-trolley.org/TDBpress_release.htm The PTM site has an off-site link to a photo page maintained by a PTM volunteer. It is worth looking at to see the progress that is happening at the museum. http://homepage.mac.com/cuzinbrucie/Weakly.Report/Menu50.html I remember reading about PTM back in Locomotive and Railway Preservation (just a few years ago), and like most of the museums that were featured in that publication, I was impressed at the long term planning that the museum engaged in. It appears that the planning is really paying off. Hats off to PTM! I'm seeing a weekend trip this summer.... |

Pennsylvania Trolley Museum is not officially part of the APTA conference in Pittsburgh but we will be open and available as an alternate activity to conference attendees. We are located approximately 30 miles south of Pittsburgh at Exit 41 of Interstate 79. Visit the PTM website (www.pa-trolley.org) or call 724-228-9256 for further information.
