Post subject:  Sierra 30 and 38

The 30 was used mainly on the difficult Angels Camp Branch, sold to the Howard Terminal in Oakland about 1937, where it became a 2-6-2T. It is under repair today on the Niles Canyon Railway, to become a tender engine again. The 38 worked only between 1952 and 1955 on the Sierra, before being sold to Rayonier in Washington. Presently dismantled today, at last report still at McCloud, California.
