I am VERY supportive of the recent trades between these two museums. Each received a piece of equipment which matches their collections better.

Will we see more of this in the future?

Here at Campo, we recently we able to find a good home for a small wooden business car to Sumpter Valley and bring home RS-32 SP 4004.

What's/Who's next?

Jim,
While returning the 4004 to Espee's scarlet/grey paint scheme will be attractive, would not the current Simplot all-red be more historically accurate for this engine and your locale?

I hope so. I know there are many museums with items that have little relevance to their mission rusting in the back lot.

And I want to personally thank PSRM for giving the 4004 a good home. I always thought it was a neat engine and I'm looking forward to taking a ride through the Gorge behind her someday.

Maybe - but it sure is UGLY. Look for scarlet/grey when it rolls out.
