| Post subject: | UK Rail Preservationist Wants Stories |
Forwarded to you from Railwayana Collector's Network (I wouldn't ring him, but e-mails would be nice--and PLEASE, respond directly to him, not here!): "2 Date: Mon, 22 Jan 2001 21:20:55 -0000 From: "Graham Petts" Subject: Calling all Railway Preservationists The Railway Preservation world is full of diverse personalities and characters and whether you've been "in the game" for a year or thirty years you most probably have a story or two to tell. I'm currently collecting stories about the preservation world and am particularly interested in the unusual, humorous, bizarre or downright calamitous (anonymity guaranteed!!) One liners or a couple of pages, I would like to hear them all, with a view to publishing a collection of them. Got a story to tell, want to share it with fellow preservationists and enthusiasts then email me Graham.Petts@btinternet.com or give me a ring on 020 8428 9637 or mobile 07748 713653, if you prefer you can write to me at 37 Lytham Ave Watford WD19 6XA. I really want to hear from you. Thanks Graham Petts" LNER4472@gateway.net |
